Greetings, GradMoney Readers!
Dear GradMoney Followers,
I wanted to express my sincerest apologies for dropping everything out of the blue and neglect to do my regular weekday posts for the past month or so. Life just catches up with you when you least expect and I'm sure you can all relate. Between the creation of my new financial designation, traveling multiple times to promote it, and dealing with a whole slew of personal stresses and issues, I just lacked the creative drive at the end of the day to add new posts on GradMoney, and I apologize for just stopping everything cold turkey.
I am very pleased to present the launch of my new designation: the Chartered SRI Counselor (CSRIC) and if you are so inclined, you can read the following articles that were published the week of the launch:
I cannot thank you all for your kind support and well wishes -- this has been one of the most meaningful creations of my life and I cannot wait to see how this will help develop the course of the financial industry. I made trips to the United Nations, the CFA Society of New York (formerly NYSSA), I will be visiting the SRI Conference later this month, and then will attend the SASB Conference in New York at the beginning of December. All the while trying to squeeze in a vacation, move to a new apartment, and keep up with my regular work stream.
I'm not sure when I will begin the regular posts again, but I will be sure to let you know of new ones from time to time. In 2019 I would like to lay the foundations for a new financial advising firm that I am looking to start (Kotori Financial Advisors), and then I will be able to offer comprehensive financial planning (namely investments and retirement plans). I will also hopefully be completing my MSF and the Series 7 and 66 licenses to better serve my investment community better.
I just wanted to give you a quick update and I hope you are all doing well and had a fantastic summer! I will be in touch with you over the coming months.
