I hope you are all having a fantastic start to the New Year! Many of you who are students or work in the public sector are taking it easy today, because Martin Luther King Jr's birthday is, in fact, a federal holiday - and we are no different :) In fact my husband and I are heading to the Stock Show events that have been going on here in Denver for the past couple weeks. No matter what you are doing with your day off, please be aware of why we have this holiday in the first place -- a man who had the courage, compassion, and determination to stand up to injustice. There continues to be a great deal of injustice when it comes to economics and finance, not just in America, but all over the world. In remembrance of Dr. King, let us all look to end injustice for the oppressed all over the world.
“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
- Edmund Burke
