Hey! Some Exciting News!

Dear GradMoney Readers:
This year seems to be the year of exciting announcements, though as the year draws to a close, I have to say this is one of the most exciting ones yet. A chain of positive events ultimately led me to announce that starting today, I will be joining the full-time faculty of The College for Financial Planning in Centennial, Colorado.
Some of you may have heard of this institution just based on the acronym: the College for Financial Planning is responsible for the creation of the CFP (Certified Financial Planner) charter -- which is a required designation for many brokerage firms and financial advisers across the country. You may have even seen a few commercials for this recently. The college is a for-profit school, owned by the parent company Apollo Group - which also owns the University of Phoenix, though neither school has any association whatsoever.
Yours truly will be assisting in the creation of new content and curriculum for financial professionals looking to advance their careers with a graduate degree in finance, a professional certification, or a brokerage license. They will find a niche for me, and I will keep you posted, but I'm very excited for what the future brings.
GradMoney will still be operating, so make sure to keep checking in for new content. My goal is to turn GradMoney into a non-profit to bring financial and investing literacy to those who would otherwise not receive such an education. With your readership, support and help we can make this a reality in 2017.
Thank you all again for your support and readership! I'm really looking forward to the future of GradMoney.
Best wishes,
Jennifer N. Coombs
