First of all, I would like to wish all of our readers and their families a very happy and safe Thanksgiving!
This past year has been an absolute whirlwind in my life and even though times have been hard for us financially, I do not regret creating something that gives me joy and I am so very thankful for my amazing friends and family.
In particular, I'm thankful that my mother is cancer-free and almost completely recovered from her surgery. I'm thankful that my sister got married to a man who will take good care of her despite her difficult medical conditions. I'm thankful for my amazing dad who continues to support me in everything I do, remains in fairly good health and that he was finally able to introduce me to his childhood friends in Minnesota this past month. I'm thankful for my awesome kitty, Wally, who has stayed healthy despite his old age and has officially called me his forever mom for the past five years. I'm thankful for my amazing fiancée, Carsten, who took a long time to find, but I'm so glad I did because he's the greatest thing that ever happened to me: my heart has found a forever home.
Last, and certainly not least, I'm thankful for all of my friends and family who have given me such strength and encouragement to quit my job - hard as it was to let go of a steady income - and channel my creative energy into something that I'm passionate about and will help me change the world. I hope that all who read this blog are learning new and interesting things and are just as excited for the year ahead as I am!
God bless you and your families and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Greetings, GradMoney Readers!
